Soh Pau Ching is a committed student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and
Technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Throughout her academic journey, she has
explored various domains, including food science, food technology, food safety, and food
business, to identify potential challenges and contribute to societal sustainability in alignment
with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her primary focus lies in the exploration of
opportunities within plant-based food solutions that utilize food waste effectively. She
consistently prioritizes her personal development and has been appointed as the General
Secretary of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology Student Council (FOSTECH) for the
2024/2025 term, which operates within the Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FSTM),
UPM. In this capacity, she is responsible for managing administrative operations and supervising
the executive committee's commerce activities related to food business projects. With her strong
leadership and communication skills, she is committed to advancing the field of food science and
technology through collaborative efforts stemming from her academic pursuits.
