Imran Mahmood Khan is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Life Sciences and Health, University of Nottingham Ningbo China, specializing in smart food. He has extensive experience in the field of smart food, food safety detection and control. He has published over 100 papers in top SCI journals, with an h-index of 31. His research focused on food waste, nanomaterial biosensors and aptasensors for food contamination and health biomarker biosensing. He has also served as a lecturer at Jimei University. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow from May 2021 to May 2023. He also led a number of national research projects in the field of biosensor development and POCT devices. Currently, he is also appointed as an editorial board member of 3 journals
