Prof. Łukasz Łopusiewicz

Łukasz Łopusiewicz is currently working as Associate Professor at School of Medical and Health Sciences, University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. He obtained his PhD and DSc from West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, Poland. His research areas include plant-based foods and food additives, food microbiology, biopolymers, medicinal plants, natural antimicrobials. In his work Prof. Łopusiewicz focuses on the cooperation between science and industry, he gained research experience at Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic), Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra (Portugal), University of Greifswald (Germany), and Cargill Bioindustrial (The Netherlands). He is a member of American Society of Microbiology, Polish Society of Microbiologists, and Polish Society of Food Technologists.
