David Quintin MartÃnez is a highly qualified professional in the field of food technology, with a solid track record in research and development within the food industry. He holds a degree in Food Technology and Biology from the University of Murcia, along with a Master's and PhD in Food Technology. Since 2006, he has played a key role as the Head of the R&D Department at the National Technological Center for the Food and Canning Industry (CTNC), where he leads innovative projects in food processing and preservation.
Throughout his career, he has worked on optimizing industrial processes such as aseptic packaging, autoclave sterilization, and the extraction of bioactive compounds from agri-food by-products. His expertise includes developing new environmentally friendly chemical peeling systems and implementing emerging technologies to enhance food safety and quality. Additionally, he has participated in multiple R&D&I projects funded through competitive grants and serves as an internal auditor for international food quality and safety standards such as BRC and IFS.
With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, has contributed to the development of technological solutions for the food industry, including the valorization of agri-food waste for the production of bioplastics and functional compounds.
